The Raiders hosted Eau Claire on Tuesday evening in a game which featured yet another great pitching performance from the Raider pitching staff. Brett Steinwagner threw 6 full innings, striking out 4 Eau Claire hitters along the way. Kellen Pearson threw a scoreless 7th inning to keep his ERA at a team best 0.00.
Offensively the Raiders put forth 4 runs on 7 hits. Kory Koller led the way finishing 2-3 with two singles, a stolen base, a run scored and 1 RBI. Andrew Entenza finished 1-4 with a triple and a RBI and Billy Sarno finished 1-3 with a clutch RBI single to put the Raiders on the board in the 3rd inning. Austin Lenzen, Ben Christensen and Kellen Pearson also contributed with singles in the game, but it was not quite enough as the Raiders fell to Eau Claire 6-4.
Next up for Hudson is a home game vs. Chippewa Falls on Wednesday June 30th beginning at 5:30PM.
